Open year-round, the Brookings Exploration Center offers visitors of all ages interactive, multimedia opportunities to learn about plants, the places they grow, how people rely on them and the importance of protecting them.

JCO completed 4,300 sq ft of renovation to the Brookings Interpretive Center. An indoor, year round participatory learning space with 5 uniquely different thematic zones was designed. Each zone was dedicated to provide guests with the opportunity to experience nature in a different way. Guests are encouraged to create, interact, discuss and share stories and experiences instead of just reading panels on the wall.

JCO worked with the garden’s education team on the new design of the Exhibit space, to provide the ideal setting for learning about the world of plants in a hands on approach. The project was completed in April, 2016.
